Hi, I'm Abby.

I bring my passion for therapy, sincere care, and deep respect for every client into each session. I believe clients are the expert of their own lives and practice collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University in New York. During my time at Syracuse University, I completed a certificate of advanced study in Child Therapy as well as training as part of the gender expansive support team to help families become more attuned to each other as they navigate through the process of gender exploration and/or transition.

I work with individuals, couples, and families and help clients to identify how their emotions are related to their thoughts and behaviors. I view individuals as part of a system, and believes a systemic perspective is helpful with individuals, couples and families. I also utilize an integrated approach including Experiential Therapy, Systems Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.

In my free time, I enjoy walking my golden retriever, hosting friends and family, and drinking coffee on my back porch.
