Hi, I’m Taylor.
The human experience can be difficult to navigate especially when one is struggling with mental health. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable with a stranger can be uncomfortable and scary, and I commend you for taking those first steps toward your mental wellness jouney. My aim is to provide guidance and alleviate distress within a safe space for you to grow. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and motivated to provide therapy to all clients ages 8 years old and older.
I began pursuing a career in the field of psychotherapy at the University of Dayton, where I graduated with a BA in Psychology in 2018. I am also a graduate of Pepperdine University in California, where I received my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have spent 5 years working therapeutically with school-aged children to adolescents with symptoms related to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, Autism, communication issues, and maladaptive behavior. Additionally, I have experience working with families, couples, and individuals in a variety of settings, from inpatient care to private practice.
My therapeutic approach is Family Systems and Humanistic oriented. Within those approaches, I integrate Recovery Oriented therapy, Person-Centered therapy and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. As a therapist, I believe that it is imperative that we look through a multisystem lens along with one’s narrative to relieve distress and foster growth. Additonally, I frequently incorporate mindfulness and self-care within my approach.
I look forward to working with you!
